One wireless SolarSentry camera delivers full outdoor coverage with a 350° pan and tilt and a built-in solar panel—no wires, no battery swaps, and no ongoing cloud fees.
The built-in panel measures 170 × 235 mm and keeps the camera trickle-charged through cloudy weather and short winter days. No outlet is required, and there’s no need to climb for power or swap batteries.
From the app you can drag to pan 350° and tilt toward the driveway. You can preset up to five positions (front porch, side yard, garage, gate, driveway) and the camera cycles among them, pausing on each to capture activity.
When motion is detected, built-in white-light LEDs illuminate to deliver color night footage, and the two-way audio lets you talk in real time via the app to deter visitors or instruct delivery drivers.
Setup takes minutes: mount with two screws on a wall, fence post, or under an eave; then scan the QR code in the app and connect to your WiFi. In live view, drag your sweep zones and let the solar panel keep it running indefinitely.
Three-step installation, no tools beyond a screwdriver: Step 1 mount the bracket; Step 2 open the app and connect to WiFi; Step 3 set sweep zones and enjoy continuous operation powered by the solar panel.
Connectivity is via home WiFi with a free iOS/Android app and live viewing from anywhere with signal. The camera includes a built-in microphone and speaker for real-time two-way talk, and its weatherproof housing protects against rain, wind, and storm spray.
Will the solar panel keep it running through cloudy weeks? Yes—the panel trickle-charges through clouds and short winter days, with internal battery banks powering the unit between sunny periods. Do I need an electrician or to drill through siding? No—two screws mount the unit on a wall, fence post, or under an eave. Are there monthly fees? No—the app and live viewing are free. Will it deter intruders or just record? The motion-triggered white light and two-way talk help deter as well as record. Can it cover multiple zones? Yes—up to five preset positions, and one SolarSentry can replace 2–3 fixed cameras. If it doesn’t cover your blind spots, you’ll receive a full refund within 30 days.
