SplashForm turns a simple tray of water into a quick, liftable marble print you can complete in about a minute, yielding 20+ unique results per fill with no drying time and no staining of surfaces.
Kids stay engaged longer than typical quick crafts, with many families reporting 30–45 minutes of real focus per session. The activity also helps build the fine motor sensitivity needed for handwriting and scissors by guiding a skewered tool through surface tension in the water.
The marbling happens on the water surface so pigments don’t soak into carpets; prints dry in under a minute and can be framed or shared immediately. When the tray is poured out and refilled, cleanup is quick and easy, keeping mess to a minimum.
How you actually use SplashForm: Step 1, fill the tray with about an inch of water and stir in the included thickener powder to form a light gel that traps the swirls. Step 2, drop pigment onto the surface and drag a skewer through them to create any pattern you like. Step 3, lay a sheet of paper flat on the surface, lift straight up, and let it dry on the counter; one print finishes in roughly 60 seconds, then you reset and start again.
What you get to hand over: a 30-minute window of quiet, sustained activity with real focus; fridge-worthy, one-of-a-kind prints that you can keep or share; and a non-toxic kit certified for safety for ages 3 and up.
In the box you’ll find: a white marbling tray, dropper pipettes, swirl skewers, and two thickener powder packets. Choose between a 6-color set or a 12-color set, with each pigment bottle containing 6ml. The tray measures 12 by 8 inches, suitable for a kitchen counter, small desk, or picnic table. The kit is designed for ages 3 and up and meets safety standards for US and EU toy products.
Note that the pigments float on the surface and do not bond with fabric; a spill wipes up with a paper towel on hard surfaces, and on fabric colors can be treated like watercolor—rinse promptly to lift most colors.
